About a year and a half ago when we worked with the children's home, we were one day moved from working with the boys home as relief houseparents to becoming interim permanent houseparents for the girls home. Because of this move we were away from our home church and had to find an alternative. The Lord led us to Drakes Branch Baptist where we were warmly welcomed by the members of the congregation and were encouraged in our walk with the Lord. Sometimes during services though, my mind would sometimes stray to ponder the question, Why here Lord? What is the purpose of being here? Kristin and I would discuss this question often. One day after six months of attending when we just felt comfortable and were looking forward to attending more often, we were transferred back to the boys home. However, the Lord had a plan.

Today, I believe we got a glimpse of the question that we so often discussed. Today we were once again able to attend Drakes Branch Baptist where I was given the opportunity to share on the ministry of CEF to which the Lord has guided us to. We were given a warm welcome and we could feel the presence of the Lord. All in all, We are so very blessed that they have come on board and agreed to partner with us monthly in  ministry. We see now that the Lord has a plan and a purpose for everything He does. Praise, Honour and Glory be given to our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ for His provision.

Thank you Drakes Branch for partnering with us and we look forward to being in ministry with you.

for prayer requires strength."

New Beginnings

Last Saturday was our last official day at work. It was a bitter sweet time after having worked with the kids for 3 years. The kids got up early and made us a really delicious breakfast. It was one of many  memorable experiences. We gave hugs and said our goodbyes and as we drove away the girls home sign gradually faded away in the rear view mirror.

We have one more week before we are officially unemployed, but we are trusting the Lord to provide and do great and mighty things and we know He will as we move forward to a new beginning.

The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, "The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!" Lamentations 3:22-24

The Lord's Provision

Aloha,

At the beginning of June we came to you for prayer and financial support to meet a matching gift of  $2000 and guess what? It was met! Praise the Lord!! It is exciting to see how the Lord provides and as the time draws nearer for us to resign our job and begin training, we are even more excited to see what He will do. It is a journey of faith, one that we are constantly reminded of  each day and as Christians we know that without faith it is impossible to please the Lord. So, thank you again so much for your continued prayer and financial support and we look forward to continue partnering with you in the ministry to which the Lord has called us.

Faith, mighty faith looks to God alone, laughs at impossibilities and cries it shall be done!

Thank You

Hey Guys,
We just wanted to say thank you for your continued prayer and financial support. It has been an encouragement to us as we continue to seek God's direction in our life and as we embark on this journey to become full-time missionaries.

May the Lord reward you for all you have done.

In His Time, By His Grace,
Ricardo,Kristin, Timothy & Annikah
