More updates

Aloha,

Just wanted to give you all another update. Firstly, praise the Lord for answered prayer. We were able to find temporary housing for the next two weeks at a reduced cost. We are staying at First Baptist Church in Honolulu Hawaii. We are right in the heart of the city and only a 15min walk from Waikiki. It is nice being able to walk around and see things.

However, because we are staying in the heart of the city, everything has to be locked. The Church has gates and walls all around for safety as well as to keep the homeless out. They have been known to climb the walls so they could find a place to sleep or use the bathrooms. So, we have to keep our door locked and our bathroom is across the hall, so we have to keep that locked as well, but at the same time we are are so very grateful that the Lord has opened this room for us.

We, are also excited as we have begun the ministry here. We have had 23 children accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour last week out of ninety kids attending 9 different clubs. What a blessing!

The next five weeks, CEF will be doing day camps all week around the island. This week we are in Kailua. Today (Monday) is the first day and we have had nine kids, 6 of who responded to the invitation for salvation. Praise the Lord!

Mahalo for your continued prayer for our family. We are adjusting to current circumstances and we know that God is faithful and will provide all we need, finances! housing, the sale of our house and all our request. Also, we also thank God for the sale of our SUV!!

Also, please pray for one of our students, she was playing games with the children, when she fell and hurt her shoulder causing her to not be able to move her hand. I just came back from dropping her at the ER so the doctors can find out what the problem is. Please pray for quick healing for her so she can rejoin the team in sharing the Gospel.

We are also still in need of housing by the July 1st and we still need prayer that our house will be sold in VA.Thank you again for your faithfulness in prayer.
I Will continue to send updates as I can and I am hoping to complete our newsletter this week and send that to you.

Blessings,
Ricardo
